The 150th anniversary of Adventist missionary work is not just a historical commemoration; it is a powerful reminder of our calling as a church. For a century and a half, men and women have left their homes, often at great personal sacrifice, to share the love of Jesus in diverse cultures and challenging environments.

This celebration honors their courage, commitment, and the countless lives transformed through their ministry.

John Nevins Andrews was a Seventh-day Adventist minister, the first official Seventh-day Adventist missionary, writer, editor, and scholar. Andrews University, a university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist church, is named after him.
